Introduccion a Las Ramblas

We began by taking the metro from Zona Universitaria to Drassanes, which allowed us to make our way up a portion of Las Ramblas.

I think perhaps my photos give the impression that it was a rather solitary venture, but the streets were fairly busy.

Street performers were out but not entirely in full force due to imminent rain.

La Boqueria ended up providing us shelter when downpour finally caught up with us.
